I started my shop on 2007 when I lived far away from my family and had a lot of time on my hands. I started making jewelry and fell in love. It costs a lot to get started, it gives you backaches like nobodies business and I have stabbed myself with blunt objects more times than I care to admit; but when I see something I pictured in my mind come to life in my hands...there is no satisfaction like that. My son has grown up watching me make jewelry and crochet and scrapbook and anything else I can get my hands on and he has definitely adopted my passion. He loves when his momma makes something just for him; Ninja Turtle hats, necklaces and key chains with whatever nickname he's created for himself this week, mittens to keep his hands warm in the snow, and he loves the days we get to create things together.
He is the reason I have decided to pursue this more actively. If I succeed at this I will be able to spend more time at home with him and help to feed and fuel his creative gene. He is my sunshine and everything I do is for him and he is my biggest fan. I couldn't possibly be any luckier.
